Fabrication Experience
Part of being a great engineer is the ability to design for manufacturing and having the skills to test your designs through either rapid prototyping or precision machining.

While there may be some designs that appear to work very well in simulation, the reality is that in the real world not all designs function as well as anticipated. This is where having the ability to create your designs, even at a small scale, proves to be a very valuable skill and allows for great insight into how well your design will perform.

While I do not claim to be an expert fabricator, I have had a significant amount of experience with the following manufacturing processes:
-
Manual Milling and Turning
-
CNC Routing and Milling
-
Woodworking
-
Welding
-
Soldering
-
3D Printing
-
Laser Cutting
-
Casting

I also have a significant amount of experience with the following modeling/design software:
-
SolidWorks
-
Autodesk Inventor
-
Catia
-
Onshape
-
CorelDRAW
-
RDWorks
-
Inkscape
-
Mastercam
-
Cut2D Pro
-
Mach3

Additionally I am very comfortable using all general machine shop and wood shop tools.
